It is necessary to strengthen political guidance in the cultural relics census, make good use of the main body’s power, strengthen coordination, mobilize public participation, create a strong atmosphere, punish violations of laws and disciplines, and make the census a major cultural relics protection action that improves the cultural literacy of the whole people and nourishes the construction of spiritual civilization. It is necessary to intensify the protection of immovable cultural relics registered in the census, promptly verify and announce the cultural relics protection units, and establish a solid bottom line for the safety of cultural relics.

my country has carried out three national cultural relics censuses in 1956, 1981 and 2007 respectively. Through the fourth national cultural relics census, a general catalog of national immovable cultural relics resources will be established to comprehensively understand the situation of my country’s immovable cultural relics resources.
