A career in entertainment may be filled with luxury. But many are actually depressed, like Li Bingbing.
The Chinese artist, who appeared in Hollywood films such as Transformers: Age Of Extinction and The Meg, admitted that she was going through tough times.
Li Bingbing revealed that for the past few years he had been struggling with what had happened to him. In a recent Weibo post, Bingbing wrote at length about her health.
“My health has not been good in recent years. I have seen many doctors but they did not find any major problems with me. However, strangely I am always tired, my eyes hurt, I am weak, fragile, sensitive, and I am afraid of the cold. The most frightening thing is is that I can’t sleep,” he said.
“Fear overwhelms me every time the word ‘sleep’ comes up. I have tried all kinds of methods: listening to audio books, listening to lullabies, counting sheep, listening to English recordings, but the effects never last long.”
Another enemy for him is when he always feels cold. “I feel cold in the shower, and feel cooler the longer I stay there,” says Bingbing.
He said a friend recently referred him to a sleep specialist who prescribed him medication. But the move didn’t work and he stayed up until dawn.
“I have completely lost hope. What should I do if I can’t even sleep on such a drug?” he said.
Li Bingbing had a brilliant career as a star from China. He has appeared in several Hollywood films.
But behind that success, Li Bingbing also appeared with various news about his life. He is said to have just broken up with his girlfriend who is 16 years his junior. They separated after dating for four years.
