LGT Private Banking will open a new office in Hamburg and will therefore be present again in Germany. Authorizations from the authorities have already been obtained.

Former Bethmann site managers take over the management of the LGT team
Torsten Hein and Jörg Finck, who only left their posts in mid-September Bethmann Bank Branch Manager Released were to take over the management of the LGT headquarters in Hamburg.
Among them is a team of 15 people with whom to actively start the development of the northern region. Among them are at least four other former Bethmann Bank employees. Martin Oldenburg, Andreas Fiefeck, Sascha Rößle and Uwe Bruns have announced their move to LGT Private Bank on LinkedIn.
At the request of Citywire Germany Bethmann Bank says it is still on the path to growth and that the Hamburg office will again be stocked with newcomers. “Hamburg is still an important place for us, where our customers are looked after with the usual high quality,” says a spokesman for the bank.
Programmed development of the central and southern regions
Initially, LGT will only be operational in Hamburg, but there are also plans to expand the central and southern regions in the future. The headquarters of the new branch of the private bank will be in Munich. In addition to this and the Hamburg office, other offices in Germany are also being studied.
