Debuting at CES 2023, the upcoming LG G3 OLED TV looks to be a true next-gen panel, utilizing a microlens array to boost its brightness beyond that of competing screens like the Samsung S95C.
Microlens Array is a new technology that uses billions of tiny convex lenses placed on OLED panel primitives to increase brightness by up to 150% compared to regular OLED TVs.
On top of that, the G3 OLED also uses a brightness boosting algorithm and a super anti-reflective coating, which again gives us greater brightness and reduces the amount of reflections on the screen by about 25%.
Along with the enhanced visuals, the G3 also brings us another audio improvement, with the sound now calibrated to better suit what you’re watching. The auto-balance feature also better matches the treble and bass to your TV speakers.
