LG’s first 480Hz OLED monitor for gamers costs $1,000

LG presented One of the fastest OLED monitors on the market is the 27-inch UltraGear 27GX790A (GX7), which is now available for pre-order. The 480Hz OLED monitor with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 was first announced in January. And the display response time is only 0.03 ms. The price is $1000.

The main specs of the GX7 are comparable to the Sony InZone M10S, which was released in September for $1,100. However, the UltraGear GX7 is slightly cheaper, although it does not support some of the advanced modes and variable refresh rate features available from Sony.

UltraGear GX7 supports Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync technologies that eliminate flickering and tearing of images. The screen itself is certified to the DisplayHDR True Black 400 standard, which provides a wide color gamut and deep hues. An anti-glare, low-reflective coating improves image visibility in bright light.

For connectivity, the display is equipped with HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 2.1, USB 3.0 and headphone audio jack. The monitor also comes with a slim stand that can be adjusted for height, tilts up to 15 degrees, and rotates up to 30 degrees.

As the Sony InZone M10S, and what potential competition do you foresee in the market?
