Here is the LG OLED EX technology, which the company claims this new type of panel contains deuterium (a material), which can further enhance the brightness and performance of the display. OLED EXs are projected to have a thinner frame than current models.
There are only a few days left until CES 2022, however, there are manufacturers who do not want to wait for their announcements so far. That’s exactly what LG did and pulled the veil off the OLED EX TVs, which are in the top category, and even better in principle than they are today.
The company claims that they were able to extract better performance from the devices by integrating deuterium into the diodes instead of the usual hydrogen. This technology can also increase brightness and performance. There are other benefits to the new technology: it allows TVs to get up to 30% thinner.
It is not yet possible to purchase, in fact, production will not start until the second quarter of 2022.
