LG releases new Dolby Vision update to its OLED TVs

LG Electronics now announces that they are releasing a new Dolby Vision update to their OLED TVs, making LG the first TV manufacturer to offer support for Dolby Vision hdr at 4k 120hz gaming.

The new support will be available on compatible platforms in connection with software version 03.15.27, which is now being rolled out to LG’s C1 and G2 series.

Additional premium models among LG’s TVs from 2021, such as the Oled Z1 series, Qned mini led qned 99 series and Nanocell nano 99 series, will receive the update in July.

Several LG TVs from 2021 and 2020 will also be tested for Dolby Vision gaming in either 60Hz or 120Hz.

The new software update also comes with a new floating instrument panel that will make it quick and easy for users to switch between different settings.
