What is striking about the monitor is that the screen is vertical compared to the standard horizontal size. A vertical split option of the screen is also possible. The monitor also has two HDMI ports, 3 USB ports (one upstream and two downstream) and a USB-C port that can also be used for power supply. The total pixel density of the display is 2,560 x 2,880 QHD.

LG indicates that the monitor is mainly suitable for designing content. In addition, the design of the monitor ensures that users have to make fewer neck movements. This helps prevent neck pain, a common complaint from designers. They need to move their head less from side to side.
LG UltraFine 31,5-inch display
The second monitor that LG will present at CES 2022 is the LG UltraFine 31.5-inch display. This screen has a 4K UHD 3,840 by 2,160 resolution Nano IPS Black panel. According to the tech giant, this produces a 2,000:1 contrast ratio. The Nano IPS Black panel should provide more nuanced blacks and more depth in images. The monitor is mainly intended for editing photos.
The monitor has two HDMI ports, three USB ports and a USB-C port. In addition, this monitor also has a detachable sensor for self-calibration of the monitor. This process can be set up via the supplied LG software.
Pricing and more details of the monitor will be available during the CES 2022 event.
