LG is currently preparing another experimental smartphone, this time it should attract attention with its non-traditional design with a scrolling display. LG Rollable: this is what the first smartphone with a scrolling display will look like
Unfortunately, LG did not provide any additional information about this device, we only know that it will be called LG Rollable. More details are provided by pictures that were captured last week on Korean discussion forums.
According to these renders, the LG scrolling smartphone should have a 6.8 ”display with a resolution of 1,080 × 2,428 pixels in the basic display, while thanks to the scrolling mechanism, it should be possible to enlarge the display to a diagonal of 7.4“. While in the “closed” state the display should have an aspect ratio of 20: 9, in the stretched state it will be around 3: 2.
The LG Rollable should impress not only with its display, but also with its internal hardware. We should look forward to the Qualcomm flagship chipset Snapdragon 888 and 16 GB RAM. Due to the size of the display, the battery capacity appears weaker, with a value of 4,200 mAh. According to the behind-the-scenes information, we should see the official performance in March this year.

At the end of last year, Oppo also showed a phone with a scrolling display, but in its case it is only an unsaleable concept. The upcoming model from LG should reach store shelves, allegedly in the first half of this year.
