It is regarded as the best product along with Apple MacBook Air and others
(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Oh Kyu-jin = LG Electronics[066570] The “LG Gram” laptop was selected as “Best Laptops of the Year” (Best Laptops of 2022) by a leading American consumer magazine.
According to the 29th Industry, US Consumer Reports classified laptops into 5 sizes: 10 to 11 inch, 12 to 13 inch, 14 inch, 15 to 16 inch and 17 to 18 inch and selected respectively the best products.
As a result of the brand reliability and actual user satisfaction survey, the 16-inch laptop “LG Gram 16” released by LG Electronics was selected as the best laptop in the 15-16 inch product group.
Consumer Reports explained, “The specs are good, but the selling point is that it’s light at just over 3 pounds (about 1.36 kg) and the battery lasts about 18 hours.”
In the overall product performance evaluation, LG Gram won first to sixth place out of 142 products.
The LG Ultra PC, the 16-inch Apple MacBook Pro and the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 followed.
Apple’s “MacBook Air M2” was selected as the best product among 12-13 inch laptops. The MacBook Air received high marks for processing speed and battery life.
The best 14-inch product was Asus’ Zenbook.
In addition, Microsoft’s “Surface Go 3” and MSI’s “Crosshair” were selected as the best products among 10-11 inch and 17-18 inch laptops respectively.
According to market research firm Korea IDC, as of the third quarter of this year, LG Electronics’ share of the domestic laptop market is 20%.
