LG has updated its Gram line of notebooks with 5 new models, 2 of which are 2-in-1 convertible devices. All new products are equipped with Intel 11th generation (Tiger Lake) processors with GPU Iris X and displays with an aspect ratio of 16:10.
The largest model contains a 17-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels. Despite its large size, the device weighs only 1.35 kg. And the most compact 14-inch model weighs 999 g.
All new items are equipped with 8 or 16 GB LPDDR4x RAM, as well as NVMe solid-state drives. They also contain backlit keyboards, Wi-Fi 6 wireless modules and are MIL-STD-810G compliant. The devices contain two USB 4 Gen 3 × 2 ports (USB PD, Thunderbolt 4), two USB 3.2 Gen2x1 ports, one HDMI output, a microSD card slot and an audio jack. Models with 17- and 16-inch displays received 80 Wh batteries, which provide up to 19.5 hours. The 14-inch versions have 72 Wh batteries.
The LG Gram 2-in-1 convertible laptops in the 2021 lineup are almost identical to conventional devices. They are additionally equipped with a touch panel with support for Wacom AES 2.0 stylus pens and include a Gorilla Glass 6 display protection glass.
Information on the timing of the start of sales and the price of new laptops LG Gram has not yet been reported.
