Last month, LG Electronics presented a YouTube advertisement video titled ‘Perfect Water Handling’ with the theme of “I will not lift a hand in front of any water recipe.” ▲Vegan, ▲Home Afternoon Tea, ▲Ballerina, and ▲Comprehensive. It emphasized the message that the voice recognition function of the LG Puricare Object Collection water purifier will upgrade the ability of various customers to use water.
In the ‘vegan edition’, if a couple who enjoys vegans says, “Hi LG, give me 930 milliliters of water” according to the recipe for green curry using vegetables, the LG Puricare water purifier automatically pours the desired amount of water. The ‘Home Afternoon Tea’ also shows how to adjust the water volume to 210 milliliters (ml) to suit the apple lime tea only with voice recognition.
In August of last year, LG Electronics introduced a new water purifier that applied voice recognition and customized water extraction for the first time in Korea. This product allows you to precisely set the amount of water output in 10ml increments and receive water with just your voice. For example, if a customer calls “Hi LG!” and says, “Give me 550 milliliters of cold water,” you can adjust the water volume as desired without manipulating the button. In the first half of this year, LG Electronics’ water purifier sales increased by more than 20% compared to the same period of the previous year, and it is standing out.
Yoon Seong-il, executive director of kitchen solution marketing at LG Electronics Korea Sales Headquarters, said, “With the first domestic voice recognition-applied PuriCare water purifier, we will not only provide a differentiated customer experience, but also enhance customer accessibility.”
