The LG company, or its LG Display division, will present several new displays intended for passenger cars at the consumer electronics fair CES, which starts on January 9 in Las Vegas, USA. At the same time, the displays should be intended for both the front and back rows of seats.
One of the novelties should be a display with technology that adjusts the angles of the field of view (Switchable Privacy Mode). This element, located in the dashboard, allows the front passenger to watch various content, for example movies, but at the same time adjusts the display so that the driver does not see anything on it and is therefore not distracted from driving.

The rear displays can be retracted into the ceiling to save space as much as possible.
Another interesting feature should be the so-called Slideable OLED display, which is supposed to maximize efficiency in cars with limited space. So when the display is not in use, it can be hidden in the ceiling in front of the rear seats. It only folds down when the rear passengers want to watch a movie, watch the news, make a video call, etc.
In addition, the company should introduce a new type of high-resolution P-OLED display, which is lighter, uses less power and can be bent. Thanks to its compactness and lower consumption, it should be an ideal solution for e.g. electric cars.
But apparently we will also see new screens for the dashboard, which should work together with the new head-up display. The system should use 3D technology, thanks to which it should improve the visibility of the driver from the car.
LG has developed a barrier that will slow down the wild burning of batteries in electric cars
