LG brings OLED TV Evo to Indonesia, what’s new?

LG Electronics brings its new line of television to Indonesia. One of them is TV YOU ARE Evo, what’s new from its predecessor?

Home Entertainment Product Marketing of LG Electronics Indonesia, Stacia Mathilda, said that in the last year activities at home have changed. This affects television users significantly.

“People often watch television and stream to gaming. Therefore, this is the right time to provide an unmatched entertainment experience, for that there is nothing better than OLED TV,” said Stacia at the launch event which was held online, Monday. (24/5/2021).

He continued, this year LG introduced OLED evo as a major update of the series TV OLED. The OLED Evo is built with a new light element that provides bright, high-clarity, detailed and more lifelike images.

The Evo OLED television is powered by an Alpha 9 gen 4 AI processor which makes the content look slicker. Thanks to the LG AI Picture Pro feature, this brand-new TV is able to display better scenes and clearer text, by detecting objects and backgrounds, and processing them separately.

“AI Picture Pro also optimizes image quality by detecting content genre, scene conditions and ambient lighting,” said Stacia.

The Alpha 9 gen 4 AI processor also boosts the performance of AI Sound Pro. There are two enhancements given, namely the ability to mix up audio to 5.2 channels, which is capable of delivering immersive sound even when using TV speakers.

Then, auto volume leveling avoids annoying sound when switching channels or streaming applications. LG helped redesign the Hone WebOS screen to make it easier for users to access the content they want to watch and make it easier for users to watch.

“Magic remote has been updated in 2021, it feels more comfortable to hold and use. The button layout is more intuitive and there are special buttons for faster access,” explained Stacia.

LG provides a new game optimizer feature that puts all game settings in one place and the best image settings depending on the type of game being played. Also given is a complete 120Hz screen with NVDIA G-Sync support, AMD FreeSync, HGiG, VRR, ALLM, and eARC that meet the HDMI 2.1 specifications that will be needed to play the latest generation games.

As before, the LG OLED TV still offers a sleek design. Collaborating with world-renowned designers and design houses, this South Korean vendor introduced the Gallery Stand to make televisions elegant when affixed to the wall.

LG OLED Evo comes in 55 inch and 65 inch sizes. The price of this television is released starting from Rp. 32 million. LG also provides the OLED C1 with the smallest size of 43 inches with prices starting from Rp. 25 million.
