LG and Philips win EISA awards for their TVs

The Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) has been awarding its product favorites for over 35 years. This year, the jury, made up of specialist journalists, has once again chosen their favorites. Awards were given in the categories Hi-Fi, Home Theater Audio, In-Car Electronics, Mobile Devices, Photography and Home Theater Display & Video. In the latter, the jury awarded a total of eight prizes. Two of these went to LG and two to Philips.

LG wins award for best 8k TV

LG received the EISA award for the best 8k TV. The manufacturer convinced the jury with its Nano Cell TV – article designation 75NANO99NA. According to LG, the device can display 8k content at up to 60 frames per second.

The second award-winning LG television is the LG Gallery TV. The model OLED65GX9LA received the seal for the “Best Premium OLED TV”. As stated in a message from LG, it is the ninth time in a row that an OLED TV from the manufacturer has won this award.

Two awards for Philips OLED TVs

The Philips brand was created for the Model 55OLED805 excellent. The television received the “Best Buy OLED TV” seal. According to Philips, this is not the first time that Philips has received this award. The brand now has four of the “Best Buy OLED TV” awards.

In addition, the award for the Home Theater TV 2020-21 went to Philips. For the TV 65OLED935. The device is a 4k OLED TV with an integrated speaker system from Bowers & Wilkins.

Samsung and TCL also each received an EISA award for their televisions. The jury also honored two projectors. One from Zappiti and one from Optoma.
