Taking the example of the Hauts-de-France region for the June regional ones, where a Greens-PCF-LFI-PS alliance behind the ecologist Karima Delli was sealed, he explained on France Inter that this was “made possible “because” we agree on the program “.
So “if we agree on the program for the presidential election, we are ready to come to an agreement with everyone,” he said.
Asked about the dissensions on the merits, at the national level, between LFI and the socialist mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo or the MEP EELV Yannick Jadot, possible presidential candidates, Mr. Mélenchon considered that these do not appear ” not in a program – they don’t have one -, not in a text – there isn’t one “. “They cannot bear for a single moment to imagine that I am in a position to preside over the State and this country,” he concluded.
But faced with those who accuse him of wanting to go it alone and be a candidate no matter what, he said he “never believed to be a providential man”.
