Many groups such as Condor and Iris have already been contacted for possible partnerships.
The CEO of the National Household Appliances Eniem Company located in Oued Aïssi, in the wilaya of Tizi Ouzou, has just announced the launch of the company’s new recovery plan. In a statement to the APS, Mustapha Chaoui laid out a series of measures taken and others to be taken in the coming days in order to put this industrial complex which employs more than 1,700 workers back on track. The other good news announced is the next rescheduling of the company’s debt with the External Bank of Algeria valued at 4400000000DA.
Good news that precedes concrete measures to boost the company and put it permanently on the rails of its national and international development. With this in mind, announces the new CEO, the public authorities have decided to give Eniem a period of financial relaxation of three years before resuming payment of its debts to banking partners. A period of grace conditioned, however, by the mortgage of its active patrimony. The same official indicated that the rescheduling schedule has not yet been drawn up, but he will however participate in reassuring the banks of the opportunity to open new lines of credit for the benefit of Eniem. In the medium term, Mustapha Chaoui is rolling out a work plan and an enthusiastic and promising program. Eniem, he explains, will start looking for national and international partners in order to develop its ranges and above all to secure new technology that would help to position itself among the competition. A competition, he specifies, which uses, unlike the Eniem, Go Forst technologies and largely Low Cost in terms of production costs. This strategy will allow the company to achieve a significant integration rate and, above all, to reduce the costs of its products while improving quality. An approach that will make Eniem products, manufactured until now with static refrigeration technologies that cost more money for lower quality, more competitive.
Always with the objective of its redeployment on the national and international market, Eniem is already embarking on the search for new partners. Many groups such as Condor and Iris have already been contacted for possible partnerships. The CEO of the company has not yet revealed the results of his contacts but it seems that things are progressing well, especially with this new plan, the Eniem is regaining its credibility. An essential characteristic in the search for partnerships at national and international level. Finally, note that the new manager has undertaken to cancel the decision of layoff at the next meeting of the board of directors. However, this decision hides behind another clause of the collective agreement which unfortunately provides for workforce reductions in the event of two technical leaves in a single year.
