Lexar has announced the SL200 pocket-sized solid-state drive (SSD), which will begin selling in the coming days. Customers will be able to choose between three capacity options – 512 GB, as well as 1 and 2 TB.
The device is enclosed in a gray case with dimensions of 86 × 60 × 9.5 mm. Weight is only about 40 grams (without connecting cable). The range of operating temperatures extends from 0 to 70 degrees Celsius.
For data exchange and power is the USB Type-C interface. The package includes USB Type-C to USB Type-C and USB Type-C to USB Type-A cables. Thus, you can use the drive with any computers.

The declared data transfer rate in read mode reaches 550 MB / s, in write mode – 400 MB / s. It is talking about compatibility with the operating systems Android, Apple macOS and Microsoft Windows.

You can buy a version of the Lexar SL200 with a capacity of 512 GB for $ 90, with a capacity of 1 TB for $ 160. The price of the older modification has not yet been disclosed.
