Lewis Hamilton really enjoyed watching Sergio Pérez put his pace to the test judging by his latest Instagram story.
On the three-week break between Bahrain and Imola (which was painful enough), Pérez showed that it was far from relaxing free time when he posted a video of one of his training routines at the Athlete Performance Center used by both drivers of the Red Bull.

Catching up on the events leading up to the Imola GP weekend, Hamilton had a lot of fun when he saw poor Perez go through what looked like a brutal session.
Hamilton wrote: “That moment where you’ve been keeping one on a date and she finally leaves and you let him go. Sorry Sergio, I had to do it! “
We didn’t have Hamilton v Perez as one of the main driver friendly rivalries in Formula 1, but it turns out that Hamilton really played the long game with this one.
In 2015, Pérez had initially played a prank on Hamilton by jokingly posting that he had kidnapped Lewis’s beloved dog, Roscoe.

We will be keeping a closer eye on these two in the future.
Hamilton also had a big plan for the cold weather to be expected at Imola over the weekend, putting on one of the tire covers between his press duties on Thursday.
