Bernie Ecclestone is sure Hamilton is over
Former Formula 1 CEO Bernie Ecclestone doubts Lewis Hamilton will return next season.
In an interview with Blick, he said: “When I talked to his father, I immediately felt that he would not answer the question about his son’s future. So we were just talking about business.”
Ecclestone also added: “I don’t know, but I don’t think Lewis will come back. His frustration with Formula One is too great. And one has to understand that. Now it would be time for him, like Michael Schumacher, to have seven world titles to has embarked on his dream of becoming a fashion entrepreneur. “
“Lewis can only lose in 2022. Who knows how the new monoposts will change the distribution of power between the teams.
