Robert Lewandowski will lead Poland from World Cup 2022. Lewandowski is determined to score his first goal in his last world cup.
Lewandowski’s reputation in front of goal cannot be doubted. After enjoying great success with Bayern Munich, the 34-year-old forward is still in limbo with his new club Barcelona. Lewandowski has scored 18 goals this season, losing only to Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe (19) and Manchester City forward Erling Haaland (23).
Meanwhile Lewandowski has scored 76 goals in 134 games for Poland since making his debut in 2008. Unfortunately, Lewandowski has never made a name for himself on the World Cup draw.
Robert Lewandowski only recorded once appeared in the world cup after Poland qualified for Russia 2018. Lewandowski et al’s journey was very short as they were immediately knocked out in the group stage after suffering two defeats in three matches.
Only two goals were scored by Poland in that tournament. Each of Poland’s goals were scored by Jan Bednarek (against Japan 1-0) and Grzegorz Krychowiak (against Cameroon 1-2).
Poland will open the 2022 World Cup by facing Mexico at Stadium 974 on Tuesday (23/11/2022) WIB evening. The search for Lewandowski’s goal begins.
“I definitely think about the last World Cup,” he said BBC Radio 5 livewhich is mentioned The stats perform. “Scoring a goal in a World Cup would be a big dream and I will do everything to make it come true.”
“I hope this World Cup will happen,” he said Robert Lewandowski.
