Borussia Dortmund is more than just football for Marco Reus. When the city of Dortmund was hit by the worst pandemic in March 2020, Reus joined various movements through the Help Your Hometown movement.

Reporting from German media, Reus donated 500 thousand euros or equivalent to Rp. 8.9 billion in the movement. It is a movement in Germany that helps people, especially in the economic field.

No doubt, many industries are ‘dead’ due to the Corona virus. For this reason, Help Your Hometown wants to provide assistance in terms of finance, capital, and so on.

Reus did not hesitate to donate that much money to Help Your Hometown. Later, donations from Reus will be channeled to small industry players in the City of Dortmund.

So it’s no exaggeration, if Marco Reus deserves to be called a legend at Dortmund.
