Bremen –
Robert Lewandowski score again and Bayern Munich firmly at the top of the standings. He also managed to match the legend’s goalscoring record Bundesliga this. Who?
In the continuation of the Bundesliga week 25 which was held at Weserstadion, Bremen, Saturday (13/3/2021) evening WIB, Bayern appeared dominant over Werder Bremen.
Making a total of 22 attempts, Bayern released six that were on target and three resulted in goals. Leon Goretzka and Serge Gnabry scored Bayern’s goals in the first half, all of which came from assists from Thomas Mueller.
Lewandowski then added to his team’s third in the 67th minute before being cut to 1-3 by Niclas Fuellkrug in the 86th minute. Bayern won 3-1 at the same time firmly at the top of the standings with 58 points.
This victory was sweet for Lewandowski, who managed to break through the Bremen goal. Because a total of 32 goals from 25 matches is the fastest since Gerd Mueller did it in 29 games in the 1971/1972 season, also with the same number of goals.
Lewandowski also extended his casualties this season, namely 16 of the 17 teams competing in the Bundesliga. Only the RB Leipzig goal has not been brushed by the Polish striker.
With that one goal, Lewandowski now equals former Schalke 04 forward Klaus Fischer in the Bundesliga, who is the second top scorer of all time. At the top is Gerd Mueller with 365 goals.
Seeing Lewandowski’s record for goals that is so sharp this season, 1.4 goals per game, then Mueller’s record could be raced for at least the next two seasons.
However, Lewandowski has another special mission to break Mueller’s record, which is 40 goals during a season. It looks like this record can be broken at the end of this season because of the average goals Robert Lewandowski, is projected to finish the season with 45 goals.
That’s crazy, Lewa!
