FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta has hinted quite clearly that Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski could be signed next summer.

Lewandowski rather than Haaland at Barça?

According to El Mundo Deportivo, it was during a fan autograph session at the Anoeta that Laporta was asked about the possibility of the transfer happening. And he was also asked if there was a better chance of ‘Lewy’ signing rather than Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.

“This one really has more possibilities”, he told the audience. A sentence that has something to greatly excite the socios. The latter are awaiting the arrival of reinforcements during the next transfer window, especially with the agreement reached with Spotify and which should guarantee cash inflows.

Laporta was speaking hours after Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann said he did not expect to lose his star player. “Lewy has a contract and will continue with us,” said the Munich coach.

Olivier Kahn, the general manager of Bayern, had also indicated recently that Lewandowski will still be at the Allianz Arena next season and that there is no question of parting with him.
