Lewandowski admits it will be difficult to stay at Bayern next season

Montecarlo

Robert Lewandowski will soon decide his future. However, Lewandowski has a hard time imagining staying at Bayern Munich next season.

The Polish football superstar only has a contract with Bayern that lasts until next summer. Lewandowski has said he wants the club to be sold because he wants to take on a new challenge in his career.

However, Die Roten were initially reluctant to sell the striker who had recorded nearly 350 goals. A new offer was made but Lewandowski refused. The 33-year-old forward is looking to take on a new challenge after spending most of his career in Germany.

Bayern Munich is now believed to be mellowing out Robert Lewandowski. Bayern is monitoring the future situation Sadio Mane at Liverpool to replace Lewandowski.

On the other hand, the two-time FIFA Player of the Year has been widely linked with a move to Barcelona. The Spanish giants have reportedly made an offer of 32 million euros, but the proposal is still below Bayern’s valuation of 40 million euros.

“I think the time will soon come to provide information about it,” he told Sky Germany. “I’ll be able to say more about it soon enough.”

“[Transfer ke Barcelona] depends on several factors. I guess my situation is clear and there’s no point in talking about it. It’s hard to say whether I will still play for Bayern next season.”

Former Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has questioned Lewandowski’s desire to join Barcelona. Moreover, Barca is not “interesting” first.

“I can’t imagine you can win more with FC Barcelona than with Bayern. What else can Barcelona offer now? I can’t think of anything, to be honest,” he said of future rumors. Robert Lewandowski.
