During the Munich Security Conference, the President of Latvia Egils Levits and the Prime Minister of Estonia Kaja Kallas met with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson to discuss issues related to security issues.
According to the Chancellery of the President, politicians from the three countries agreed that Ukraine should provide and continue to provide military and financial assistance.
The parties also agreed on the need to strengthen NATO’s eastern flank and to prepare strong and lasting sanctions against Russia.
Johnson has expressed “a strong position on the need to strengthen the Joint Response Force, a joint initiative of the United Kingdom and its partners in Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Finland and Sweden.
