The latest joint series of “Super Wide V2 Collection” jointly created by Levi’s® and BEAMS has been officially unveiled after earlier previews. This is the fourth cooperation between the two parties so far.
The series draws inspiration from the classic items of the 1940s. While following the concept of loose fit, it also pursues new expressions of denim fabrics. The first is the Super Wide V2 Type Ⅰ Trucker, which is made of 16-ounce denim. In addition to being more durable, the buttons are reduced to 4 and the pocket flap is discarded, making the overall appearance simpler. The details also highlight the cooperative identity. orange stitching with unique label. Next is the matching Super Wide V2 Jean, which faithfully restores the classic elements of the 1944 501®︎ pants and is made of the same denim fabric as the jacket. Finally, BEAMS original labels and customized extra-wide leather back patches are added.
Both the jacket and trousers are available in light retro wash color and indigo wash color. The prices are respectively ¥35,750 and ¥32,450 yen for the jacket and ¥30,800 and ¥28,600 yen for the trousers. In addition, both parties also bring a White image Tee, priced at ¥6,050 yen.
