Leverkusen – Young Boys 0: 2 (Overall: 3: 6)
As in the first leg, Leverkusen didn’t get going against the Bernese at the beginning and said goodbye to the Europa League. Afterwards, Leverkusen became a little more active, but there was no penetration forward to unhinge the Swiss defenses. In the 86th minute, Christian Fassnacht put the lid on.

In the 20th minute, the midfielder hit from the edge of the penalty area, before he was successful in stoppage time after a counterattack.
