LETTER FROM JAN - To the groom

Mr. Grapperhaus,

Ms. Dijkgraaf sometimes says that I show little empathy.

That means that I have a bad sense of other people’s thoughts or emotions.

I think that is (of course) not too bad.

I can cry when I think about all those oldies who had to die in loneliness from CDA minister Hugo de Jonge.

And when I think of how that for their next of kin was.

And when I think of those cremations and funerals, where survivors with far too few people had to say goodbye to their loved ones in a terribly impersonal way.

And to those people in nursing home and home care who had to work without masks and who were not tested for signs of corona, but had to continue working.

And I feel sorry for the couples who had to postpone their long-planned wedding. There went their ‘day of your life’.

With the cancer patients whose treatment was delayed for months, with all the consequences that would soon be hidden in the statistics.

And with the entrepreneurs and even entire sectors that broke down and will fail because they simply do not have the lobbying power of the aviation sector (or the gambling halls).

With the employees who lose their jobs.

With the freelancers who were the first to be the hare.

With children with problem parents who were housed with their pathogens for months and were used as an ‘outlet’.

With young people who saw their festivals and events or their holidays to their own country pass by and for which your fellow (qua regent) Hubert Bruls now “Want to do something fun”.

Even with the wappies whose gray matter under their skull roof has been so confused by watching YouTube videos at home for months at a time, that they now not only think that corona is just a flu, but also that there is a cartel of pedosexual in children. those who act in power and that Donald Trump and Willem Engel are coming to save the world and Willem Engel the Netherlands from that bogus morrie.

But I do not feel any compassion for a crystal-clear lying minister who deliberately does not follow his own rules and who calls others who do not do so “asos”, has them fined, takes them to court and delivers a criminal record, while he “fines” himself with a deductible donation to a charity of his own choosing.

And I am really sick of all the politicians, in the cabinet and in the House of Representatives, who condone this obvious form of class justice. Anyway, but even more of those who started to taunt the man who revealed your misconduct (‘pics or it didn’t happen’).

I give them all one Ferry de Kok in the bushes.
