Let’s talk and unite our position by electing a president who brings together the Lebanese

Deputy Hani Qubeisi stated that “the south has never been but an oasis of warmth for the UNIFIL forces, witnesses of Israel’s aggressions and injustices”, expressing his denunciation of the painful accident suffered by a patrol of the ‘UNIFIL in Al-Aqibiya area.

Qubeisi saw that Lebanon desperately needs a language that unites its people and said: “Unity is a title, and we cannot replace unity and dialogue with a sectarian language that unleashes fanaticism, whims and personal leaders, so let’s destroy our homeland with our own hands, and that’s what some politicians do in our country, as they are not fluent in Arabic and they think Lebanon is not Arab, they want it to be like them, because Lebanon can be protected only by a unity of position through which we can dedicate dialogue, language, path and understanding among Lebanese, and this is what President Nabih Berri seeks and demands through his repeated calls for dialogue and convergence.

Qubeisi continued, “Let’s get away from sectarianism, because the sectarian game brings nothing but defeat to the country, and there are those who want to take revenge on this country only by adhering to its sectarian positions and dedicating its language through foreign instructions.”

He concluded: “Let us dialogue and understand, as Lebanese, uniting our position by electing a president of the republic who will bring together the Lebanese and will not quarrel with anyone, nor disagree with anyone, but will seek to unify speech and position, rebuild institutions and develop the economy”.
