The Let’s Talk About Cancer event in Ballyshannon on May 13th has sold out, with an impressive line-up of speakers and musicians set to raise awareness of cancer support services and encourage those affected to seek help. The event will feature musicians Brian Kennedy, Diarmaid McGee, Deane James, the Finn Valley Men’s Choir, and the Relay for Life Donegal Survivors Choir. Organiser Paul McLoone notes that 2,300 people in Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim receive a cancer diagnosis each year, and urges everyone to offer support to those affected. Speakers will include singer/songwriter Brian Kennedy, Majella O’Donnell, Evelyn O’Rourke, Martin Caldwell, Nikki Bradley, Corrinne Hasson, and Martin McHugh.
