When you talk about a petrol V12 engine, brands like Lamborghini, Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes, BMW probably appear in your head, but hardly anyone’s first thought is Peugeot. However, the French can boast of such an engine mounted on the concept of 2004 – Peugeot 907.
This is a sports coupe with rear-wheel drive and front-mounted engine, which is actually a combination of two 3.0-liter “sixes”, which at that time were quite relevant for the French brand. The power of the 6.0-liter V12 is 500 horsepower, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes less than 4 seconds.
The body is mostly made of carbon fiber, which allows a weight of 1400 kilograms and a top speed of 357 km / h. Unfortunately, the concept never reached mass production, but remained in the Peugeot Museum, where it can be seen at various times.
