/ world today news/ A proposal to restore the tradition of holding Moscow Days in Sofia and to include them in the program of celebrations on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the Russo-Turkish War of Liberation was made by the chairman of the BSP Left Bulgaria group in SOS Kaloyan Pargov on today’s session. The leader of the capital’s socialists is part of the organizing committee for the anniversary celebrations, which will be celebrated in 2018.
“Sofia has its place in these events, he said. – And organizing Moscow Days in our capital would be very appropriate. In the last three years, we refused to hold them with the excuse that there were elections. But it is time to restore the tradition. And as part of the program of events on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the Russian-Turkish liberation war, I made an official proposal to organize Moscow Days in Sofia, regardless of which side of the hall we sit on represent, we are obliged to preserve our memory and history”.
