Hello, dear people, dear donors! I want to express my gratitude to all of you who are helping me in my fight to get my chance at life. Thank you for not leaving me alone, your support is invaluable to me. When I started my campaign, I thought I wouldn’t make it, but my faith is so strong because you are part of my cause.
I want to give an update on my health. After the fourth chemotherapy to see how I was responding to the treatment, the treating oncologist scheduled an earlier date for five scans. I am writing these lines with mixed feelings and emotions – great joy that the scan showed amazing progress and a lot of sadness because I don’t know if I will be able to continue my treatment until full recovery.
After consulting the doctor about the results of the PET/PET/CT scan, I saw, with tears of happiness and gratitude in my eyes.
The miracle of the photos – over 60% clearing of metastases in just four months! I was prescribed four more chemotherapies combined with immunotherapy.
I still have one more chemotherapy to do and another scan with five scanners to come. A plan has been drawn up for my treatment with Immunotherapy, which should be infused for a year.
It is very expensive and overwhelming for my family. For one infusion I have to pay 4000 euros, for a whole year my treatment will cost 63,000 euros, and this amount includes blood tests and five scanners.
