In a week’s time, the Antwerp corporate court will probably declare the bankruptcy of the vzw Let’s Go Urban (LGU) of Flemish Member of Parliament Sihame El Kaouakibi. The provisional administrator has asked this, now that the organization has run out of money, and El Kaouakibi has not resisted. This became clear today at the session of the Antwerp corporate court.
That is why, among other things, a Tesla – owned by A Woman’s View, one of El Kaouakibi’s private companies – has already been seized. The provisional administrator hopes that in this way two unpaid invoices worth 30,000 euros can be recovered. According to provisional administrator Annemie Moens, the confiscated contents of LGU itself can yield “a maximum” of 20,000 euros.
