Cologne / Washington – He was one of the most powerful men in the world. And he is the half-brother of the “Let’s Dance“-Quarter-finalist Auma Obama (61). It’s about none other than Barack Obama (59). He’s recently been following her on Instagram.

Auma Obama has now confirmed to Obama that this is a rarity RTL.
Because the 44th President of the United States is a very busy man. Following the social media every day is certainly not on the agenda. The 59-year-old only follows the most important accounts and organizations on Instagram. Among them is his wife Michelle Obama (57) and, more recently, his older sister Auma.
“He has always supported me,” she said in the RTL interview. “We’re very, very close and he’s excited about me.” The two half-siblings only met in their mid-twenties. But there was harmony from the start. Since then they have been working together on many projects.
Because Auma, like her brother and his wife, also supports disadvantaged children, among other things.

Auma also says that her brother Barack saw all of her dances. Then he revealed to her that he had never dared to dance in public. Then Auma made an announcement to him: “If you think I’m so great, follow me.”
And that’s what the former US president did. So he gets to know how his sister would develop and can read what other candidates and fans write about her.
But that’s over now. Auma was voted out of the show on Friday shortly before the finale of “Let’s Dance” despite good jury criticism. And yet she says: “I can dance better than my brother. He should rather stay with the president. On this side, I’ll do the other.”
Will the once most powerful man in the world remain loyal to his half-sister on Instagram in the future? We can be curious!
