On the evening of June 23, in Raiskums Park (Cēsis region), spectators are invited to an ambitious Līgo night concert – a dedication to the limousine in the color of Midsummer night. Actors of different generations will return to the home of the film “Limousine in the Color of Midsummer Night” in Raiskums, where the legendary film was made more than 40 years ago. After the concert – a ball until the morning light.
This evening will be an opportunity to watch the legendary film of director Jānis Streičs and the audience of all generations and to celebrate the director’s 85th birthday, as well as to meet with Latvian theater singing actors and popular groups. The guest of honor of the event will be the outstanding Latvian actors who participated in the film.
The concert “Limousine in the Color of Midsummer Night” will feature both unforgettable songs from the film and compositions from Raimonds Pauls’ wide repertoire. Latvian theater singing actors Elīna Vāne, Ieva Puķe, Imants Strads, Lelde Dreimane, Edgars Pujāts and others will take part in the concert.
The group “Vintāža” will take care of the musical accompaniment. After the concert, the big Līgo night bonfire will light up and the night’s green ball will start, which will be opened by the band “Credo”, but after midnight the “New Midsummer Orchestra” will continue to play music,
