Letizia didn’t appreciate a phrase from Paolo that she considered a bit offensive
At the beginning all couples may have small misunderstandings due to little knowledge of each other’s characters. Paolo and Letizia are not exempt from this and are still taking measures and are not always able to fully understand each other.
Last night Letizia, not seeing Paolo go back to bed, gets worried about him and goes into the garden to look for him. She finds him in the pool together with Giuseppe and Vittorio.
“You could just as well not have gone out,” he says, deeming such apprehension unnecessary.
This morning Letizia, offended by the boy’s attitude, avoids speaking to him. The butcher, with a little insistence, manages to clarify.
He didn’t intend to send her away, he doesn’t even remember the sentence but it was certainly misinterpreted. Obviously she is happy at the sight of Letizia coming out of her, so much so that she thought the girl was offended for other reasons.
Letizia explains that she wasn’t really angry but that she simply felt bad about it. She believed that Paolo wanted to show off in front of her friends.
The young man reassures her, it is not his behavior.
The couple makes up quickly, after all nothing happened. Once the issue is resolved, the two run into the pool and hug. Everything is solved.
