The former prime minister, a guest of “Fakty po Faktach”, addressed this “general remark” to Donald Tusk’s cabinet. According to Miller, the government must “learn to govern without the president and bypass the president, even balancing on the edge of the law.” He also said that President Andrzej Duda’s reactions during Minister Radosław Sikorski’s speech in the Sejm were “stupid and embarrassing.”

He added that “it is so serious that it is said by people who voted for this coalition on October 16 (October 15 – ed.). – And if they are disappointed, it will be bad – says the former prime minister.

Miller: you have to learn to govern without a president
When asked whether he believed in the government’s cooperation with the president, the former prime minister said no. According to him, the government should “ignore the president.” – It’s possible to rule like that. We must learn to govern without the president and bypass the president, even balancing on the border of the law. But there is no other option, because Mr. Duda will not change. He will sabotage the government. This is a saboteur who aims to bring discredit to the government and make it easier for PiS to win the next parliamentary elections, Miller said.

He also commented on the reactions of President Duda, who listened to information from Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski about the goals of Polish diplomacy in 2024. – It was stupid and embarrassing – said the guest of “Fakty po Faktach”. – It is so embarrassing that diplomats and ambassadors were sitting on the balcony near the president. There were people who shape public opinion in their governments. They saw it. I can imagine what they were thinking at that moment and what messages they wrote to their countries, he said.

The guest of “Fakty po Faktach” was also asked to comment on the Left’s results in the local elections. – This is the worst result in the local elections. This is eight seats for 16 voivodeships, which means half a mandate per voivodeship, so what are we talking about? – Miller said.
He stated that “the main responsibility always rests with the head of the group.” – When I failed, I simply resigned and I believe that this is an honorable way out of the situation, but in this case it is obviously impossible – he added.
Kamiński, Wąsik and Kurski in the European Parliament? “They will be surrounded by isolation or cold reserve, to put it mildly.”
Miller, a current MEP who, however, announced that he would not run in the elections this term, also said how Mariusz Kamiński, Maciej Wąsik and Jacek Kurski might be received in the European Parliament. According to unofficial information, they may be candidates on PiS lists.
