Famous Ukrainian TV presenter Lesya Nikityuk, which hosts the show “Who’s on top?” together with Sergey Pritula, she decided to recall the difficult past of her family and showed me memorable photos from the trip.
Last night Lesya told about her trip to a village 180 km from Khmelnitsky, where her grandfather and grandmother lived, and also told about a difficult story from the past. According to Nikityuk, the past of grandparents was very difficult.

“It was through these doors that in 1942 they brought my grandmother to be shot. For not paying the tax! She was 8 months pregnant at the time. A confused woman, also pregnant, was already lying in the room of this building. Zachek (the name of the German soldier) twisted the pistol in his hand and threatened him with death.

At that moment, a fight broke out in another room and my grandmother jumped out the window and ran through the fields, swamps, hiding in the woods for several days. She was saved then! ” – Lesya said.
She also showed the place where grandparents were buried: “Now they rest here, in a quiet place. Where the sun brings back warm memories, and the wind scatters tears. ”
