Less money for foreign children: Greens hope to correct their own bonus

360 euros as a bonus for each child – that was announced by the turquoise-green government before its exam in June. And the green Vice Chancellor Werner Kogler added that the children’s bonus should “be the same for every child, unlike under turquoise blue”.

And ÖVP family minister Christine Aschbacher, who said at the decision in July that “all those who take advantage of family allowance would be supported with EUR 360 per child” in the Corona crisis.

It is obviously not like that Standard reported: For foreign workers whose children do not live in Austria, the bonus paid in September with the family allowance is likely to be lower.

This is not only a problem for the Green Family Spokeswoman Barbara Neßler, but also SPÖ, NEOS and the Federal Youth Representation angry. You request a correction.
