Less commercially successful, but still one of the best rock guitarists in the world: Jeff Beck (78) passed away

Messages of mourning and messages of support rained down on social networks, from fans but also from other musicians. “It seems that one of my brothers has left this world,” writes Ronnie Wood. He is best known as the guitarist for the Rolling Stones but was also a member of the Jeff Beck Group.

“I can’t describe how sad I am,” writes Ozzy Osbourne, best known as the lead singer of heavy metal band Black Sabbath. “What a terrible loss to his family, friends and many fans. It was an honor to have known him. Long live Jeff Beck.”
