The plan that France and Germany are working on will mainly include minors. This is what French president Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday in Ajaccio, on the island of Corsica.
Macron also wants to help other European partners: “We have to show solidarity with Greece,” he said.
In the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, there were several fires in the Moria refugee camp. According to the information known so far, they were lit. The camp can accommodate 2,800 people, but up to a few days more than 12,000 migrants lived there.
German Development Aid Minister Gerd Müller previously announced that his country can receive 2,000 homeless migrants.
