“Les yeux de ma mère” by Arno is number 1 in Radio 1’s Classics 1000 for the second year in a row. The passing of Arno, now almost a year ago, and his immortal ode to his mother, clearly still move many listeners. Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here” and Tom Waits’ “Martha” complete the top 3, just like last year.
