🚀 Produced by La Cité des Congrès de Nantes, the #Utopiales2024, International Science Fiction Festival, will be held from Wednesday October 30 to Sunday November 3, 2024 around the theme “Harmony”.
THEME || In 2023, the Utopiales questioned the means of transmission at our disposal, from the sharing of knowledge, culture and wealth to the resulting legacy that will be bequeathed after us.
With these reflections in mind, this year, authors, scientists and artists go beyond the question of heritage to set out in search of “Harmony”. Our speakers will examine its different facets, seek to determine whether this whole that works together, simultaneously, is synonymous with Peace or Balance, and will focus on its Cycles and its inevitable Dissonances, whether cognitive, ethical or generational. Can our society achieve this dreamed harmony or, as Oscar Wilde said, “To be good is to be in harmony with oneself. Discord is to be forced to be in harmony with others.”
