Les Souffles d’or in concert to support Ukraine

Saturday April 2 at 6 p.m. at the church of Saint-Paul de Puisserguier, the public will have the pleasure of listening to the trio Les Souffles d’or: Nicolas Planchon (member of the Orchester des keepers of the peace of Paris since 2006 and professor at the de Nîmes), Dominique Bougard (solo trumpeter emeritus and professor in various conservatories in France), accompanied by Christopher Hainsworth, holder of the organs of the cathedral of Béziers and Puisserguierain for thirty years. They will present a varied, virtuoso and entertaining program, the great Baroque composers of course, Handel, Bach and Scarlatti in brilliant works, but also Romantics like Schubert (with his famous Serenade) and Brahms (with his Wild Hungarian Dances) and even ragtime with Scott Joplin and a surprise or two!

The concert is organized by the Association des amis de l’orgue de Puisserguier and its new president, Torsten Mogensen, and a new board of directors, who have decided to make admission free with a collection for Ukraine at the end of the concert.
