The Rorquals de Charlevoix M11 B lost 2-1 to the Élans de Charlesbourg in the grand final of their league playoffs.
The winners took a 2-0 lead in the first period. “The players responded well in the two periods that followed, but we felt a little nervous. Our goalkeepers Anthony Bédard and Aïcha Ferland made big saves to keep us in the game. During the playoffs, the whole team pushed the machine hard,” commented coach Jonathan Dufour.
Rorquals M11 B will not participate in the regional championship. Their season is not over. The team will participate in the Princeville tournament starting April 22.
