The Omnia République – transferred to the Halle aux Toiles due to renovation works – presents this Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. the program “Les Nuits en or” 2021 (2h15), which brings together the best short films in the world of the year.

The Académie des César has selected 7 national award-winning films in six countries: these productions have been crowned with a César, an Eddan, an Iris, a Goya, an Ariel or a Bafta.

The 7 films selected are:

  • “What does it matter if the animals die”, by Sofia Alaoui (France)
  • “Paperboy”, by Ninna Palmadottir (Icelandic)
  • “Physics of sadness”, by Theodore Ushev (Canada)
  • “A la cara”, by Javier Marco (Spain)
  • “The disappeared”, d’Astrid Dominguez (Mexique)
  • “The hour of the bear”, by Agnès Patron (France)
  • “The Present”, by Farah Naboulsi (United Kingdom)
