The facts date back 5 years, but the theft of this checkbook in a small company in Villers-lès-Nancy, has just found its end. An investigator of the brigade of astute delinquency (BDA) of the Departmental Security, plunged into this dusty file to extract a suspect.

In short, the author of the theft was in full swing to accumulate € 18,650 in damage.

The victim had also been pressured to withdraw his complaint. Summoned to the BDA, the suspect, a 38-year-old Vandoperian unfavorably known to the authorities, was placed in police custody on Thursday. Released, he will have to answer for theft, fraud, use and forgery of checks and threats, before the criminal court, next March.
