A mysterious treasure is therefore hidden in the town of Mauges-sur-Loire. To find out, it will be necessary to solve a certain number of puzzles around the story of Jack Goldenbird, known as the Buse, a French pirate who disappeared in 1670 under very mysterious conditions …
The golden hawk that never leaves him earned him this nickname. This son of a Loire fisherman and a washerwoman, who loves dipping, bottereaux, rillauds and frying eels, grew up on Île Batailleuse. Enlisted in the Royal Navy, he left it with a crash for a vague history of card games, by thirst for adventure … or simply thirsty.
With his crew, he then embarked on the Loire. But a mutiny leads him to melt his treasure in a lime kiln and mold all his booty in the form of a nozzle which he buries somewhere in Mauligérie. There are only mysterious clues left to his daughters on two grimoires …
“Call for reflection and logic”
Inspired by the Golden Owl treasure hunt, “ this multi-step adventure calls for thought and logic », Underline the animators. The launch of the game takes place this Friday 1is October, but it will be possible to start at any time.
The instructions and the first clues can be found on an old grimoire, placed on a desk at the reception of the social center, in La Pommeraye, and at its branch in Saint-Florent-le-Vieil. Participation is free, and does not require registration.
